about the project

Spread over five undulating acres of forest, Taj Theog is an imaginative tribute set against the majestic landscapes of the western Himalayas. The design is inspired by the Building traditions and crafts of Himachal Pradesh, its landscapes, history and culture. The architecture of the Taj Theog Resort & Spa is drawn from the Kath Khuni Building traditions of rural Himachal Pradesh that combines wood and local stone, structures that are crowned with sloping roofs that slope in four directions.

lighting design intent

To enrich his design philosophy as required by the lighting designer, ILDL used High CRI led strips with different wattages and profile types for the cove in bedroom, ball room, restaurant, lobby and under crown to lit well enough for patterns experience.
