ILDL used fixtures from Dot-Spot to accentuate the structure that addresses architecture as a human shelter in the aftermath of a disaster.

about the project

Combining the older design values, adding red brick material to emphasize history and the spiral layout, the belief of imbibing the outer view of nature keeps the souls alive and leads to this open structure. The Indian pavilion celebrates the coming together of space, material and light to create experiences in architecture that are cognitive of the Indian civilization. The structure addresses architecture as human shelter in the aftermath of a disaster.

lighting design intent

The lighting intent behind the project involved lighting up of the perimeter wall of the Indian Pavilion. The accentuating of the verticals was made possible using Slimlux from Dot-Spot that was embedded in linear line form and a soft glow effect was used to light up the area.
